Where have I been?

Good question. Busy as a bee.

I have this blog now, http://neworleanscocktails.com/

Follow along. I have plans to update the blog with my own photos and opinions. Oh, you all know you want my opinions.

Finally…

made it back to New Orleans. And just too busy to post. I’m working on a few endeavors that’ll hopefully come up to speed in about 4 months that are all about New Orleans.

3 more weeks

and then I’ll be back home to NOLA. Then I can start posting my own New Orleans finds and such. I’m excited to move back, but feeling a little apprehensive about it.

There is obviously another force at work here, another system, a world of secret realities which is continuously and quietly in confrontation with our own.” In other words, folks: we’re not on Bourbon Street any more…. 4 more weeks and I’ll be home. I need to try out some of these bars I did not know existed. This one sounds interesting at Boucherie - The Br’er Rabbit takes Jim Beam, Steen’s Molasses, Dolin sweet vermouth and a green onion twist. Instructs the helpful barman: “You take a sip, then take a bite of the onion … keep that spice on your tongue.”

Pickle juice snowball anyone?

Probably one of the best things for a hangover. Add a little tomato juice and a piece of fried chicken, and say good-bye to that hangover.
